Cold Air Intake:
Let's get to it.
These are the pieces I bought at the hardware
store. These are only 3 of the 6. The other 3 are just
like these.

The picture quality is kinda blurry, but you
can get the picture if you dont know where this
mod is going to happen. On the passenger side, where the air
filter is located, go ahead
and disconnect the box from the throttle body connecting hose and
from the wall of the
car so you can get to work.

This shows the air filter and bottom portion of
the box removed from
the car.

These are the two ducts cut to size. You will
need to drill holes
through the middle (I used 3 holes) to secure the ducts together.

First, you start by removing the fender cover.
There are about 4
screws that hold it in place. You need to remove your tire to
take
it off. Now insert bolted together ducts into the hole where
air filter gets the air. You may need to remove an airsilencer if
there is
one, not too sure.

Proceed to bolt the ducts to the car frame. You will need drill
bits,
nuts, and washers (to not leave washers out!). You may choose
to insulate the whole section with a foam or gasket of some kind.
I chose not to do so. Once that is bolted on, Go ahead and attach
the other metal pieces. You can use a variety of things to secure
them if you wish. Hose style clamps, glue (preferably JB Weld),
Letter "L" shaped braces to mount against the fender
(tricky but
not impossible). More pics also to show various angles.

This is a view with the tire on, for your
viewing pleasure. This should
not be your last step! You need to put the fender cover back on

This is how firm the pipes should be against the car.

This is a peek through the corner looking from the front of the car.

Now just put the fender cover back on and bolt the tire back on!
You will now benefit better from better , colder air flow. I have an
LX model mustang without the ground effects or GT bumper, so
I could not get it to run through to the fog lights to make it ram air.
